If you hadn’t guessed it already, my name is Drew Butler. I am a self-professed computer geek and technology enthusiast. While my interests can vary quite a bit from moment to moment, one thing is for sure, it is in my nature to figure things out. Hence the purpose of this blog. To share some of what I figure out with you.

By day I am a software engineer for one of the top 5 retail mortgage lenders in America. In this I help to keep their web presence running smoothly with the help of a team of fantastic individuals. There, I am a framework developer, technical mentor, object architect and web programmer.

What you should expect to find on this site.

While I have created many personal pages and blogs in the past, this is the first time that I have shed the normal anonymity of the Internet. My goal here is not to create a Live Journal, but to create a place that I can share solutions with you, just as so many have done with me in the past. Whether it be home media projects or software development crisis, I want to make sure that just because I had to bang my head against the desk for a few hours, doesn’t mean you will have to.
